The Ritchie Center is a multipurpose athletic and recreational facility located on the campus of the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. It houses a variety of sports facilities, including an ice arena, pool, fitness center, basketball court, and soccer field. The facility also has conference rooms and event spaces that can be rented for meetings and other special events. The Ritchie Center is named after cable television pioneer Bill Ritchie, who donated $5 million toward its construction in 1999. The complex opened in 2000 and has since hosted numerous sporting events, including NCAA championships and Olympic athlete training.
